Online Cyntell Course via Zoom - 3 Taught Sessions, Instructions and 14" Cyntell Frame set
This is for 1-1 basketry tuition to learn the traditional Welsh Basket, the Cyntell. The cost includes a 14" Cyntell Frame and Rib Set for you to use in Session 2 and 3.
You will need thick rods of willow for ribs and hoop making and basketry willow for weaving to complete the course (I can provide this within the UK on request if necessary - Rib and Weaving Willow £15 plus postage)
This Online Course of 3 zoom sessions includes full written instructions and former templates. Each session will be recorded so that you have an individual instruction video to refer to in the future. Individual feedback will be given via Zoom and includes specific skills teaching following a structured programme and suggested homework. Email support is also offered between sessions.

Please note there will be an additional shipping fee for the frame for international students and you will need to source willow for split ribs and weaving from your own country.
Session 1 - Making and using formas to make hoops. Splitting and Shaving willow to make ribs.
Full instructions and forma templates will be given after this session.
Session 2 - Weaving the Cyntell - Tying on the first 4 ribs, splitting and shaving additional ribs and shaping the basket
Session 3 - In the round ribs, finishing the weave and finishing details
